Langless Langless

Join a Langless room from your phone (Langless Rooms app)

Someone invited you to a Langless room — a voice conversation where each person speaks their own language and hears the others translated. Joining costs nothing and needs no account: on Android, use the Langless Rooms app from Google Play; on any other device, the browser. This guide walks you through it.

Step by step in the app

  1. Install Langless Rooms from Google Play and open it.
  2. Fill in "Room code", "Your name" and "Room password" with what the host gave you.
  3. In "My language", pick the language you speak — it’s also the language you’ll hear the others in.
  4. Tap "Join". The first time, the app tells you that your voice goes to the AI provider the host uses, to be translated: tap "Got it, continue" and allow the microphone.
  5. To talk, press and hold the 🎙 button (below it you’ll see "Hold to talk") and let go when you’re done. If you’d rather talk without holding, turn on "Detect speech automatically", just below.

Without the app: in the browser

On an iPhone, on a computer, or if you don’t want to install anything: open the invite link the host sent you in the browser — or join.langless.com — and join with the same code and password. It’s free too.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to pay or create an account?

No. Guests join for free, with no account and no AI key; the host pays for the translation.

Is there a Langless Rooms app for iPhone?

No. On an iPhone, join in the browser, with the same code and password.

Do I have to install the app?

No. It’s optional: in the browser you join the same room, the same way.

Why does the room ask for a password?

Every Langless room is private: without the password the host set, nobody gets in.
